Visiting researchers and faculty from BML Munjal University in India will participate in an immersive AMPLIFIED! workshop at The Basement at UC San Diego, focused on applying Human Insights (HI) × Artificial Intelligence (AI) to research and innovation.

Participants will work through two applications of the HI × AI Infinity Loop. First, they will use HI × AI to investigate a challenge more deeply, combining their subject-matter expertise, experience, and judgment with AI-supported research and analysis. They will then apply the same process to improve how the problem is framed, developing a clearer and more useful foundation for subsequent research, innovation, or solution development.

The workshop will emphasize AI as a collaborator that expands and challenges human thinking rather than replacing it. Participants will also consider how the approach can be applied within their own research practice and adapted for teaching, mentoring, and student learning.

Hosted at The Basement at UC San Diego, the session will provide an opportunity for international academic exchange around emerging approaches to AI, research, innovation, and human-centered problem-solving.
