Human Insights × Artificial Intelligence is most valuable when we understand not only what AI can do, but how people, organizational conditions, and decision processes shape what happens next.
That question is central to my doctoral research at National University and to the continuing development of AMPLIFIED!.
My current study examines a documented participatory HI × AI innovation process within a bounded organizational setting. The research follows the work from problem representation through solution development, selection, implementation, and observed outcomes, with particular attention to how human judgment, stakeholder evidence, organizational knowledge, and AI-generated material interact along the way.
The broader goal is to better understand how and under what organizational conditions Human Insights × Artificial Intelligence can contribute to meaningful innovation and organizational action—and where leadership, capability, systems, resources, participation, or context may enable or constrain that work.

These conversations can help identify future research opportunities while also expanding the range of organizational contexts, perspectives, and evidence informing the work.
