AI can generate more, faster—but amplification requires more than speed.

In this hands-on San Diego Design Week workshop, participants will learn how to use the HI × AI Loop to strengthen creative and strategic work without surrendering human judgment. Working through a shared digital-design challenge, participants will establish a human baseline, use AI to expand perspectives and possibilities, evaluate what is useful or misleading, and direct a second round of refinement.

The session makes the difference between delegating work to AI and designing with AI visible through a before-and-after comparison.

Participants will leave with a practical, repeatable method they can apply to research, problem framing, product thinking, communication, and client work.
